The Padma Organization :: Tibetan Nun Project
Ngoedrub Charbeb Ling is a Tibetan Buddhist monastery on the outskirts of Katmandu Nepal. Khenpo Konchok Monlam Rinpoche, or Khenpo Ko Mo as he’s known, established this monastery to teach and support Buddhist nuns dedicating their lives to spiritual realization and altruistic action. Funding for the monastery is entirely dependent on Khenpo’s Ko Mo’s ability to fundraise while running the monastery as well as being the head of several Buddhist centers around the world. We are committed to finding sponsors for each of the 25 nuns of Ngoedrub Charbeb Ling to lessen the burden on Khenpo Ko Mo as well as to support those committed to altruistic spiritual endeavor. Sponsoring a nun requires the small sum of $45/month. If you become a monthly sponsor you can choose a nun and you will receive updates regarding their studies as well as pictures of the nuns and monastery.
